A message from the fam, and introducing Bailey!!

Happy Tuesday evening!
These are our beautiful children Brandon, Olivia, Ashley, Ryan, and Michael in the back. They wanted to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I hope your Holidays are going wonderfully! Ours have been really nice! I am glad they are winding down now though. I want to get back to a normal routine and just relax! I don't know about you, but I am NEVER ready for anything. I mean~ every party I went to this season I was putting things together and wrapping at the last minute (this is no different than any other year by the way). I should be in The Book of World Records for 'Biggest Procrastinating Living Thing'!! REALLY!! It's one of the things I dislike the most about myself.
ANYWAY....
I have a couple of cards to share with you, but first I want to introduce you to the newest member of the Bernardoni family~ this is Bailey!

Some friends of ours have a cat that had a litter~ long story short- we have a new kitten! Bailey is named after one of our favorite holiday characters~ George Bailey, from 'It's a Wonderful life'.

Come to think of it, I've never introduced you to Jack, named after the Great Jack Sparrow of 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Jack is my big, beautiful Maine-Coon boy~ THE BEST cat in the world!! He was a bit taken-a-back and a little upset, but look how he is coming around to this cute little guy! I can tell they are going to be the best of buds!
Okay, on to the cards!

The first one is from Saturday's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, and it's also the Mojo Monday sketch from last week. Splitcoast's inspiration was from MacKenzie-Childs~ I chose this charming plate for the soft, delicate look, it reminded me of Stampin' Up!'s pretty Bella Rose dp which I thought would be perfect for my Lizzie with Muff stamp from Whiff of Joy. I water colored her with ink pads and a water pen, cut out her image and adhered her to my card with dimensionals. I added faux stitching with a paper piercer and a white gel pen.

The next card is from this week's Mojo Monday sketch, and the first Sweet Ebony @ Sugar Nellies challenge using lime and black colors in our projects. The closest I could come to 'lime' was my Kiwi Kiss from SU. I used my 'Picnics of Daisies' stamp from Sarah Kay, and the sentiment is from SU's 'Always'. Again I water colored the image with ink pads and a water pen~ isn't she cute?!
Well, this post has taken more time than I thought it would, so I'll say "Good night" for tonight. Thanks for stopping by, and keep on smiling! :)
Hugs and Smiles~ Denise

Two Sketches and a birthday gift!

Happy Tuesday!
My birthday was Thursday and I wanted to thank all of you who sent b-day wishes, hugs and smiles~ WOW!! And look at what my sweet hubby gave me-- another WOW!! There were also some beautiful roses included, and my kids had a gorgeous bouquet delivered to school! I don't know much that could top all of that! (Maybe a b-day call from Johnny Angel?!) ;)

My last post was a bit of a downer, I know, but thanks for listening and all your thoughts and prayers. I'm amazed at all the beautiful, caring people I've "met" here in blogland~ very special friends~ thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I do have a couple of cards to post tonight. The first is a thank you to my sweet hubby for my CUTTLEBUG! You'll notice I used my new toy for the first time on this card!
I stamped these 'Happy', smoochin' House Mice in black archival ink and colored them with ink pads and a water pen, and of course added Stickles for sparkle. This is also the sketch from Jen's Sketch For You To Try Saturday.

For the next card I used the sketch from PCP, and the colors are from Wednesday's Color Throwdown. Recipes are coming up!
Thanks so much for stopping by, I'm going to hit the hay and sleep in tomorrow~ the first day of vacation! Don't forget to keep smiling a lot!! :):)
Hugs and Smiles!

Tourette Syndrome

Sometimes I really hate this disorder, like right now- this moment~ I feel like going in my room and shutting out the world. TS has come into our lives through our twelve year old son Brandon, along with obsessive compulsive disorder and oppositional defiant disorder. He has been struggling with these since he was two and a half, but didn't get diagnosed until about three years ago. Brandon has verbal as well as physical tics that come and go, but the most heartbreaking part of all this is the rage inside our son. Over the years we've had emergency services come to our home because we couldn't calm him down, he was arrested when he was nine for throwing a bottle at a friend who needed stitches in her head, suspensions from school, broken furniture, doors and holes in the walls. On top of the anger and behaviors, he has remorse and feelings of guilt and doesn't like himself very much, he really doesn't have any friends either because of these behaviors. We've been through years of counseling, individually and as a family, special programs, special education and meds. But none of that makes a difference if he doesn't do his part and use what he's learned. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. I won't even get into the effect all this has had on his nine year old sister, let's just say she's the peacemaker of the family. It's heartbreaking to love someone with all your heart, yet be so angry and feel so helpless at the same time. Sometimes it's hard not to say "Screw this- I didn't sign up for this, I GIVE UP!" But we love him too much and we'll NEVER give up on him. My prayers and wishes for Brandon are~
"Please God, please let him come to love himself, learn how to be a good friend so he can be blessed with friends and wonderful people in his world, and a chance to have a normal, healthy and happy life."
Don't know why I went into all of this here, it's just been a rough couple of days. But we WILL keep smiling~ I hope you do too! Thanks for dropping by and hearing me today.
Hugs and Smiles~
Denise

Enjoy!

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I hope you're all having a wonderful Holiday season. I have to say it takes time for me to get in the spirit, in fact, the past three years I haven't even sent Christmas cards. But this year my dear friend, neighbor and stamping partner in crime, Pam, helped me. She motivated me to put up the tree, put on the Christmas music and get busy on my cards. Thanks Pam~ I love ya! Hopefully you'll see her beautiful creations very soon!
I did however, take a break from Christmas cards to get in on the SCS Color Challenge. This week's colors are Basic Gray, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Not
Quite Navy. I used my new Willow stamp from Whiff of Joy and this sketch from Paper Craft Planet
All of you talented ladies and guys help motivate me too with your oh so gorgeous cards and gifts that I love to admire when I'm visiting your blogs and galleries! I'm so grateful for my stamping craft and all of you, my awesome creative blogger friends! Have a wonderful evening and keep on smiling! :):)

One Christmas, One Mojo and My First Sarah Kay

Happy Friday!
I have a few cards to share with you tonight. The first one is one of this year's Christmas cards. I used white, real red and kiwi kiss cs. I pierced the top corners of my white base panel and embossed the red panel using a Fiskars embossing plate. Someday I'll get a Cuttle Bug, the embossing plates work good, but when I have a good sized panel to do, my arm really feels the burn!! I stamped my tree twice on kiwi cs and cut them out. I adhered one image to a white punched oval matted with real red, and added part of my second image over that with dimensionals. I also added some
Stickles and dots to my tree for a fun look. I punched a strip of white cs with my Martha Stewart Lacy Scallop punch, stamped my sentiment with black ink on kiwi cs, punched it out with an oval punch and adhered it to the assembled card with dimensionals.

I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch for my next card, along with this weeks SCS Color Challenge~ taken with teal, real red and baja breeze. I used my favorite snowman stamp (Holly Berry House), and broke in my new Martha Stewart snowflake punch.

And finally, my last card to post tonight features my 1st EVER beautiful Sarah Kay stamp!! I just love these sweet images she has created. This one is Picnic of Daisies. I colored her with stamp pads and a water pen and used a circle cutter for the panel. This card was made with this sketch from Jen del Muro.
Well, that's about it for tonight. Thanks for stopping by~ have a great week end and don't forget to smile a lot!! :):)
Hugs and Smiles~

You Make Life Sweet

Hi and happy Wednesday!
I have been busy making Christmas cards and teacher gifts, and I have really slacked off on my favorite challenges and posting on my blog~ I'm not the best multi-tasker that's for sure! But I took a break to check out today's sketch challenge at SCS and dove right in! FUN FUN!!! I also broke in my new cupcake set from Impression Obsession~ YUMMY! I stamped the cupcake three times on kiwi kiss cs, and three times on white cs. I used the kiwi for the cups, and I colored in the white tops with ink pads and a water pen, cut them out and adhered them over the cups with dimensionals.
The white ribbon looked a little lonely so I added a red button with a glue dot.
Well, I think I'm pretty much stamped out for today~ time to get some sleep!
I hope you had a day full of smiles~ if not I'm sending you some now! Thanks for stopping by, see ya soon!
Hugs and Smiles~

Silver Seasons

Hi!
It's been a while since my last post. Unfortunately my depression gets the best of me sometimes and I can't seem to do the things I love to do. But I'm climbing out of the pit, and feeling like myself again! I dove right into the SCS sketch challenge for today! I was also checking out my fave blogs and Sharon Johnson had these wonderful Christmas cards. She brought back some fond memories of Christmases long ago when I was a little girl. Every year my mom decorated out REAL Christmas tree with silver balls and blue lights, and every year we would beg her if we could have multi-colored lights, and she would never budge! It wasn't until I was in my 20s that she broke down and changed the colors of the tree, but you know what?~ I love those childhood memories!
Anyway, I stamped my tree and snowflakes with Versa Mark and embossed them with Aegean Silver embossing powder(Judi~Kins) and I used white ep for my sentiment. I popped up the main panel and snowflakes with dimentionals, pierced the blue panel and added faux stitching with a white gel pen. I also pierced the right corners of the card, and added some small half pearl stickers to my tree and snowflake centers.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your evening, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Hugs and Smiles~
Denise

Best Wishes Fairy

Hi everyone, and happy Thursday!
This week's SCS color challenge is Certainly Celery, Pacific Blue and Basic Gray. I have a hard time with gray, but it's the second panel on my card~ it's in there! I do, however, LOVE the Pacific and Celery together! I combined this with the sketch from Paper Craft Planet, a cool new community for obsessive paper crafters like myself~ check it out!
I started with a Pacific cs base, then added a gray panel. My third panel is a combination of Pacific and Celery cs that I embossed using the Fiskars texture plate. I stamped my fairy two times on white cs. I water colored them both with ink pads and a water pen, then I cut out one image with a circle cutter, inked the edges of the circle, and shaded it slightly with chalk. I shaded the fairy dust trail with chalk also and added some Stickles for sparkle. The second image I cut out just the fairy and adhered her with dimensionals to the first image. I added the stamped, colored and cut butterflies to the focal panel, stamped the sentiment, punched it out with a rectangle punch, inked the edges and matted it with Pacific cs. I felt it needed something more so I added some 'Faith dots' around the panels.
I Hope you're having a wonderful day and smiling a lot!
Hugs and Smiles~~ Denise

Happy Sunday everyone!
I hope your week end has been a good one! Today is my son Brandon's 12th birthday, so we had dinner at The Olive Garden and desert at Dairy Queen~ his birthday choice~ YUM!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON! I love you!
The Featured Stamper at SCS today is Wendybell, and her gallery is full of beautiful creations! I chose this card to case today. I loved the colors and layout so much that I kept them pretty much the same, but you have to change at least two things to case someone so I changed the stamps, embossed panel, and I didn't use any ribbon on my card.
I have to make this short for now, but thanks so much for stopping by~ and don't forget to smile a lot today! :):)
Hugs and Smiles~~ Denise

Inspired Challenge Card

Hello and happy Saturday!
Today's Inspiration Challenge at SCS is Boden USA clothing. I found this cute shirt with an embroidered heart and cool colors~ and I thought, choc. chip, tangerine tango and kiwi kiss! So I started with a choc. chip cs base. I traced a heart from a template in pencil, then I pierced along the shape and traced over it with a white gel pen for some faux stitching. (It's a little messy but, trust me, my sewing is much worse!) I stamped some images inside the heart with versa mark ink, heat embossed them with white ep and added some punched flowers. Not a lot of layers on this, usually I load on the layers, but this seemed to call for more of a simple look.
What do you think?
Well, I'm so beat, it's way past dream time! Thanks so much for stopping by and please keep smiling!! :):)
Hugs and Smiles~~ Denise

Plum Christmas

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday!
I haven't posted in a while, I've been helping my mom pack for her move, and I'm happy to say that she's all cozied up in her new place~ YEA!!!! Halloween was fun~ I have no pics to share because I still have not purchased a new camera. Olivia was a witch and Brandon was... well- he was a bloody skull head in a cape if you can picture that, and now there is way too much candy in this house!!
Anyway, I've been trying to catch up on my challenges this week and I have today's SCS sketch challenge to share with you. The sketch is great, I flipped it upside down because of the sizes of my panels, and I used the colors from today's Color Throwdown Challenge which are Pale Plum, Choc. Chip, and Old Olive. I'm trying to get my Christmas cards done so I pulled out my Fun and Fast Notes' Christmas tree and stamped it twice on Old Olive cs and once on white cs. I cut out both Olive 'trees only', and adhered one image to the white image. I added some Stickles, white gel pen and red marker fancies to the second 'Olive' tree and adhered that over the first image with dimensionals. I colored the star and tree trunk with markers, cut out the whole layered image and adhered it to a Pale Plum oval panel matted with a larger Choc. Chip oval. I stamped my sentiment in black Archival ink on Olive cs and punched it out with an oval punch. I inked the edges and added dots. The top three panels are embossed with a Fiskars texture plate and matted with Choc. Chip cs.
Really fun card! What do you think?

Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes, Best Yet (SU)
Paper: white, pale plum, choc. chip, old olive

Extras: white gel pen, markers, ribbon, oval punches, rhinestones, Fiskars texture plate

Fairy Dream

Happy Thursday evening~
SCS has started a new monthly challenge, Cards For A Cause. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so, this month's CFC Challenge is Chemo Angels, in honor of all the brave people who are fighting cancer every day. I love the idea of donating handmade cards, or any project, to someone who needs to know they are not alone, and someone they may not even know is pulling for them and sending out a prayer or a hug or a smile. So I combined this with the Ways To Use it challenge which is using only one word on your project, and came up with Fairy Dream.
I water colored the image with ink pads and a water pen. I also cut out the butterfly and 'out of the box' flowers and popped them up with dimensionals, then added some Stickles for a magical sparkle.
I hope this card will put a smile in someone's heart and remind them that they are worth the fight.
Hugs and smiles to everyone, and thanks for stopping by! :):)

SC199

Good Thursday morning!
Yesterday's sketch challenge at SCS was great, and two choices to boot! I chose this one (I'm sure I'll try the other too!).
I love these birds from Inkadinkado, this one especially. I've been seeing these two stamps together in my mind for a while so I thought I'd try it now. I stamped the bird with versa mark ink on elegant eggplant cs, heat embossed it with white ep then cut it out. The heart was stamped with black Archival ink on Almost Amethyst cs. I colored the flowers with markers and a white gel pen, then cut around the outside of the image. I added the bird with dimensionals and put the rest together according to the sketch. I really like the result, what do you think?
Time to get ready for work~ yea~ Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to smile a lot today!! :):) Hugs and Smiles,
Denise

Catching Up On Challenges

Good Tuesday evening!
(First, today's date is Tuesday, 10/21/08~ I couldn't figure out how to change it)
Thought I would post some challenge cards that I haven't been able to~ I really need more time in a day! So I'm posting in between batches of cupcakes for Olivia's class in honor of her 9th birthday tomorrow~~ Mmmmm, it sure smells good in here!
Anyway, my first card is from Sunday's Featured Stamper Challenge at SCS. This week's FS is Emily, aka Ink-e. Check it out, she's 18 and super talented! I sure wasn't making cards when I was 18~ let's not even talk about what I was doing at 18. I chose this card for the challenge, it has such a fun layout.
Okay, I'm back from licking the bowl~
The next card is from Saturday's Inspiration Challenge at SCS, and it's from The Etsy Store, and artist Joom's creations. I chose this wonderful pillow, I love the aqua and white, right away I thought- White embossing on that lovely color. This is also the sketch for Our Creative Corner
I sent this one out to one of the SCS family of stampers, Vicky Gould, as her husband passed away suddenly a few days ago. My thoughts and prayers are with Vicky and her family.

My next card is from LAST week's Featured Stamper Challenge, Anne Ryan. I was unable to play and Anne is so sweet and talented, I didn't want to miss out! I chose this card from Anne's beautiful gallery. You need to change at least two things for a CASE, and I changed the colors, stamps, and I did faux stitching (it's the only sewing I do). I kept the layout the same because I love it!

Last card~ I PROMISE!! This is for today's Color Challenge at SCS~ pink pirouette, choc. chip, and kiwi kiss~ great colors!! I combined this with Monday's Mojo Sketch and came up with Birthday Wishes.
Okay, the cupcakes are cooled and it's time to frost! Hope your having a fantastic week~ and I hope you're smiling a lot!! :):) Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs and Smiles,
Denise

Plaid Fairy For You

Good Thursday evening to you!
Just a quick post to share tonight. The Ways To Use It challenge at SCS today is "Mad For Plaid". We had to use some kind of plaid, whether it be dp, ribbon, etc... This was a challenge for me because I never use plaid anything, but I found a pad of K and Company dp that just happened to have some plaid in it. I used a strip of the dp matted with basic black cs. I also stamped the butterfly on the same dp, cut it out and adhered it to my card with a dimensional. The fairy was water colored with ink pads and a water pen, and also cut out. This was fun, wish I could play some more, but it's time to get ready for the morning. Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fantastic evening and don't forget to smile a lot tonight!! :):)

Hugs and Smiles,
Denise

Recipe:
Stamps: Inkadinkado (Fairy and butterfly), Boho Backgrounds (sentiment)
Paper: White, Blue Bayou, Basic Black, K and Co. dp

Combo Challenge Pink Always

Happy Wednesday evening!
Nice to be blogging tonight, I haven't had a lot of time for posting or stamping lately~ this just makes me so sad! I tell ya, I wish I could stamp and create for my living because I crave it every second of every day. It felt so good to be able to play today! And what an awesome sketch for today's challenge at SCS, really fun! I combined it with yesterday's color challenge (I usually do), which was basic black, pink pirouette and optional white~ is that a fab combo or what?!!
I love my Always set from Stampin' Up!, so I inked up the birdie with Versa Mark ink, and heat embossed it with Chrystalite Pink ep on basic black cs. I love how the design on the image comes through on dark cs. The flower for this card is one I found at Walmart. It originally had a pink button center, but I removed it and added a black button with a glue dot~ I think it makes the flower pop more for this card.

Recipe:
Stamps: Always (Stampin' Up!)
Paper: basic black, pink pirouette, Bella Rose dp
Ink: Versa Mark, black Archival Ink
Extras: Flower, buttons, ribbon, white gel pen, Chrystalite Pink ep, oval and circle cutters

Well, off to do some commenting on SCS and then to bed! Thanks so much for stopping by, and don't forget to smile a lot tonight! :):)

Special Fairy

Today's sketch challenge at SCS was really fun. I combined it with yesterday's color challenge which was Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, and Kiwi Kiss.
I found these cute Fairy stamps by Inkadinkado at Michael's today. My daughter's 9th birthday is coming up and they will be perfect for her card!!
I started with a Choc. Chip card stock base and added a Kiwi and smaller Choc. Chip panel tied with ribbon. I stamped the image on white card stock. I water colored it with ink pads and a water pen, then added Stickles. I stamped and colored the butterflies the same way, cut them out and adhered them to my card with dimensionals. The sentiment was punched out with an oval punch and also adhered with dimensionals. I finished it off with some pearl stickers.

Recipe:
Stamps: Fairy and butterflies (Inkadinkado), sentiment (Studio G)
Paper: Choc. hip, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, White
Ink: black Archival, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss
Extras: ribbon, pearl stickers, Stickles, oval punch, dimensionals

SC196 Happy Autumn!

Happy October!
Can you believe it? Where did the summer go? I have that seasonal depression going on right now, but it will pass. Right now I want to enjoy the wonderful rich colors of the foliage, the crisp, cool fresh air and cozying up with the fam on shorter days.
Yesterday's sketch challenge at SCS was really cool, and I loved teusday's color challenge, so I combined the two. I was looking through my stamps for some Fall images, and I found a couple of old PSX stamps that were perfect.
For the 1st card I stamped the image in black Archival ink twice on white card stock. I water colored the wagon with Close to Cocoa ink and colored the rest of the image with markers. I cut out a few pieces from one image and added them to the other with dimensionals. The flowers are felt and I used a fern punch for the greens.

The next card is done with the same sketch, and I used this pretty wreath stamp. I colored it with markers, cut out the image and adhered it to my card with dimensionals. The sentiment is Stampin' Up's Best Yet set, and I punched it out with my curly lable punch. I added it to my ribbon with a glue dot.
Well, that's all for tonight, thanks so much for stopping by and keep smiling a lot!! :)
Hugs,
Denise

CC186 Just Because

I have to tell you~ I absolutely love this weeks color challenge at SCS!

Really Rust
Choc. Chip
Baja Breeze

I'm really lovin' Baja Breeze, and I have ALWAYS loved my Choc. Chip ~ Really Rust never grew on me, but somehow, the combo of the three gives me butterflies in my tummy when I see it!! I have seen Really Rust in a brand new light! :)
Anyway, enough of my little spiritual awakening. I combined the color challenge with this week's Mojo Sketch and came up with 'Just Because'. I used my big Inkadinkado butterfly again for this card. I Stamped it on white card stock with Brilliance Aurora ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I dry embossed the rust panel with my Fiskars Stone Texture Plate, and edged the choc. panel with the Martha Stewart lacy edge punch.

Recipe:
Stamps: Garden Delight (Inkadinkado), Best Yet (SU)
Paper: white, choc. chip, really rust, baja breeze
Ink: choc. chip, aurora (Brilliance)

My butterfly is from my Inkadiankado set, Garden Delight. I inked her up with my Brilliance Aurora ink pad, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, same with the little flower. I adhered them to my card with dimensionals.

Two Challenge Cards Limited/Inspiration

I hope you're having a happy Saturday! Right now I'm enjoying the moment at my table creating with my favorite challenges. Actually I have a lot of favorite challenges, I just wish I had the time to do all of them.
Today's Inspiration Challenge at SCS are some fantastic photos from Domino Paint Palettes. WOW! What a fun place to find color inspiration, check it out! Here is the photo I chose for my card.
I don't usually use a lot of bright/bold colors, but I thought the Caribbean blue and orange looked so pretty so I CHALLENGED myself.
I embossed the white cs base with the Dots Texture Plate from Fiskars. I added a Pacific Point panel, matted with a scalloped Pumpkin Pie panel tied with ribbon. I stamped my main image with black Archival Ink and water colored it with ink pads and a water pen, and of course added Stickles for a little sparkle. I cut it to size and matted it with white and Pacific Point panels punched with a lacy scalloped edge and added 3 orange brads. I stamped my flower with Pacific Point ink and punched it out with a scallop punch. I added some punched leaves and rhinestones to finish it off.

Recipe:
Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes, So Many Scallops, Make it Count- all Stampin' Up!
Paper: White, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss
Ink: black Archival Ink, Close to Cocoa, Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie
Extras: Fiskars Texture Plate, scallop punches, Martha Stewart lacy edge punch, leaf punch, ribbon, rhinestones, Stickles, dimensionals

My next card is from yesterday's Limited Supplies Challenge. We were supposed to use animals on a Christmas card. I just bought this adorable Cattitude set from Inkadinkado, and I found a small ornament stamp I have had for years. I thought the cat's tail was perfect for a dangling ornament. The only embellishment we could use was ribbon, so I used a simple layout.

Recipe:
Stamps: Inkadinkado, Katie and Co.
Paper: Real Red, Certainly Celery, black, white
Ink: black Archival Ink, Versa Mark
Extras: Crystalite Pink EP, ribbon, black Sharpie pen

WT185 Charmed Mojo

Happy Thursday!
Today's 'ways to use it' challenge on SCS is using charms on our cards/projects. I found this cute little teapot charm in my stash, and I remembered that I had a teapot stamp from years ago that would be perfect for this challenge.
I stamped my image on black cs with versa mark ink, then heat embossed it with Crystalite Pink embossing powder. I stamped my image again on white cs with black Archival Ink and water colored the flowers with ink pads and a water pen. I cut out the flowers and layered them on top of the embossed image. I added Stickles for sparkle. I used the sketch for Julee's Mojo Monday, and embossed one of my pink panels with the flourishes texture plate from Fiskars. I adhered the charm to the ribbon with a small glue dot.

Recipe:
Stamps: PSX, Studio G
Paper: white, pink pirouette, black, certainly celery
Ink: black, versa mark, pretty in pink, rose red, mellow moss
Extras: ribbon, ep, teapot charm, Stickles, rhinestones,, texture plate, black Sharpie, white gel pen, straight scallop punch

Now, back to Grey's Anatomy! Thanks so much for stopping by, and don't forget to smile a lot! :):)

SC195 Angel of the Season

Hi! I hope you had a terrific Wednesday~
I just want to put a quick post up tonight, I really need to get some sleep! ~ "yawn"~
Today's Sketch challenge at SCS is really cool! I definitely want to use it again.
I started with a Night of Navy base, and I embossed all four panels with my Fiskars Texture Plates. I stamped the Angel on white cs with black Archival Ink and water colored her with my ink pads and a water pen. I added Stickles cuz she's an Angel, and Angels sparkle!! I still need to pick up a new camera. You can't see all the yummy texture and sparkle with the scanner. But I really like how she turned out, I hope you do too!

Recipe:
Stamps: Holy Triptych- SU
Paper: white, night of navy, bashful blue
Ink: black, close to cocoa, soft sky
Extras: ribbon, snowflake punches, Stickles, rhinestones, dimensionals, texture
plate

Thanks so much for stopping by, and keep smiling a lot! :):)
